Confidentiality

Information that is provided from a client to his or her psychologist is strictly confidential. This means that no information is shared with or released to others without explicit consent from the client.  The only exceptions to this are situations in which Ontario law requires or permits this information to be shared without consent.

Fees

Psychologists’ fees are not covered by the Ontario Health Insurance Plan. Many private insurance plans (e.g., through work or school), however, cover all or part of fees charged by psychologists. We strongly recommend that you contact your insurance provider to discuss whether you have coverage and to ask any other pertinent questions. These questions might include how much coverage they provide, what documentation they require, the procedure for submitting a claim, and whether a referral from a physician is needed. Invoices and receipts for psychological services will be provided by Until Psychology.

Fees for psychologists at Until Psychology generally follow the guidelines set by the Ontario Psychological Association. Accordingly, fees will be discussed directly with your psychologist and you can contact us for more information. Payment for services is generally due after each session, unless alternate arrangements are made with your psychologist. We accept cash, personal check, or e-transfer.

You will be fully informed about fees prior to booking your initial session or making any commitments.

Until Psychology requires at least 24 hours notice before cancelling a scheduled session. Appointments cancelled with less than 24 hours notice are subject to the full fee of the session.
